Apply for the Full Stack Engineer role at First Advantage. Engineer high-volume, secure background screening platforms using C#, .NET, Razor Pages, Azure, SQL Server, and GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
About the Company: First Advantage
First Advantage (Nasdaq: FA) is a leading global provider of mission-critical background screening, identity verification, and workforce compliance solutions. Providing cutting-edge software suites to some of the most recognised Fortune 100 and Global 500 brands, First Advantage processes millions of secure data points every year to help international corporations mitigate risk and accelerate hiring pipelines.
The Core Product Engineering Division at First Advantage builds and maintains high-volume, security-sensitive applications, including fingerprinting networks and background screening registries. Operating within an agile technology transformation framework, this team focuses on scaling cloud-native architectures, embedding automated quality assurance, and implementing secure coding practices to ensure maximum platform availability, data encryption, and a best-in-class user experience.
About the Role: Full Stack Engineer
Are you a security-minded .NET developer who excels at building scalable web features, optimising relational databases, and designing secure APIs? First Advantage is hiring a full-time, permanent Full Stack Engineer to join its global core product squad. This execution-focused role is tailored for engineers bringing 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience developing with C# and the .NET ecosystem within multi-tiered, high-volume environments.
🔒 Critical Security & Compliance Mandate: Due to strict federal compliance and security screening regulations for fingerprinting and background systems, all personnel must be United States Citizens who meet specific residency rules (e.g., residing in the US for 3 of the past 5 years or working overseas in a federal/military capacity). Candidates must also undergo an extended background evaluation to secure an LAR (Local Access Review) certification.
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will manage the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC) for high-impact screening tools. Your work will span the full stack—from engineering front-end components using Razor Pages to writing robust backend logic via C# / .NET RESTful APIs. You will optimize data storage within Microsoft SQL Server, write automated testing sequences using Playwright, and manage cloud-native code delivery via Azure and GitHub Actions. This role is ideal for an independent researcher who is comfortable with evolving requirements and is curious about leveraging AI tools to drive software development efficiencies.
