About the Role: Data Analyst / Level 1 Developer

Wissen Technology is hiring a full-time, permanent Data Analyst / Level 1 Developer to join its expanding Business Intelligence & Analytics division in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This role is designed for candidates with 2 to 6 years of experience who are proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to take ownership of complex reporting ecosystems.

As a Level 1 Developer at Wissen, you will be part of a team dedicated to automating and scaling client-facing data systems. While structured training is provided, you will hit the ground running by executing complex data mapping between source and target systems, conducting deep-dive data validation, and building automated reporting templates. This position requires a mandatory, daily in-office presence, placing you side-by-side with senior architects to ensure seamless delivery and high-impact business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Data Analytics Workflows

  • System Data Mapping: Execute complex data mapping activities, ensuring accurate lineage and structural translation between diverse source tables and target systems.

  • Data Validation & Quality Checking: Perform granular data analysis and validation across massive datasets to catch anomalies and guarantee report integrity.

  • Report Automation & Templating: Support the design, scripting, and deployment of automated reporting frameworks to eliminate repetitive manual processing.

  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Participate actively in UAT phases to validate that end-user report outputs match required technical rules and functional workflows.

  • Cross-Border Alignment: Collaborate closely with onshore and offshore client data engineering and product management teams.

  • Risk Mitigation & Timeline Governance: Manage multiple automation pipelines simultaneously under strict deadlines, proactively identifying technical blockers and reporting risks to stakeholders.

Candidate Prerequisites & Key Technical Skills

Successful candidates must bring high ownership, an analytical approach to data management, and the communication skills needed to work well in fast-paced corporate teams.

Required Experience & Educational Baseline:

  • Professional Tenure: 2 to 6 Years of hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, data validation, or operations support workflows.

  • Academic Credentials: Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech / B.E. or equivalent Graduate degree) in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related quantitative field.

  • Work Framework: Ability to maintain a mandatory, daily in-office presence at the Bangalore office.
