The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding business needs, analyzing processes, gathering requirements, and translating them into actionable solutions for technology implementation.

Roles and Responsibilities – Sr Business Analyst

Discovery & Analysis

  • Plan and conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews.

  • Perform fit-gap analysis and AS-IS / TO-BE process mapping.

  • Define project scope, assumptions, and constraints.

  • Develop problem statements and success metrics.

  • Assess business impact across people, processes, data, and technology.

Requirements & Design Support

  • Gather and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

  • Prepare documentation such as:

    • BRD / FRD

    • User stories

    • Acceptance criteria

    • Process flows and wireframes

    • Use cases

  • Evaluate configuration vs customization decisions.

  • Collaborate with developers and solution architects on technical feasibility.

Data, Integration & Reporting

  • Define data migration strategy including mapping and validation.

  • Document integration requirements such as API and batch processing.

  • Capture analytics and reporting requirements including dashboards and KPIs.

Cutover, Hypercare & Adoption

  • Prepare go-live plans and contingency strategies.

  • Support hypercare and system stabilization after implementation.

  • Create training materials and drive user adoption initiatives.

Governance, Delivery & Documentation

  • Maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).

  • Support backlog management and release planning.

  • Track RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).

  • Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards.
