We are seeking a SAP Functional Project Manager with 8 to 10 years of experience to lead our high-impact SAP initiatives in Chennai. This is a dual-impact role focusing on both new project implementations and the rigorous governance of Application Managed Services (AMS).

The Role: Strategic Oversight & Operational Excellence

As an SAP Project Manager at ITC Infotech, you will be the primary architect of project success, managing the delicate balance between scope, budget, and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Project Management: Plan and manage all aspects of SAP projects, from resource assignment and task monitoring to ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery.

• AMS Governance: Lead Application Managed Services by tracking tickets to closure, performing deep-dive root cause analysis, and ensuring 100% SLA compliance.

• Strategic Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of SAP consultants and developers, setting clear performance targets and providing continuous feedback.

• Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for global clients, managing expectations and translating business needs into technical excellence.

• Quality & Risk Mitigation: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure adherence to SAP best practices while proactively identifying and neutralizing project risks.

• Continuous Innovation: Stay ahead of SAP trends and recommend innovative solutions that enhance process efficiency and client satisfaction.

We are looking for a leader who excels in high-pressure environments and possesses the analytical depth to manage complex ERP ecosystems.

• Experience: 8–10 years of specialised experience in SAP Project Management and Functional leadership.

• Education: BE/B.Tech or MCA degree.
