Role Overview

Dexter’s Tech is recruiting a Business Analytics Intern for its 3-month remote Career Launch Internship Program.
Designed specifically for college students and recent graduates, this role provides hands-on experience in collecting, cleaning, and interpreting business data. Interns will analyze sales, customer, and marketing datasets, build performance tracking dashboards, conduct competitive market research, and present data-backed recommendations to support organizational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Collection & Preparation: Gather, clean, and organize business datasets from disparate internal and external operational sources.
  • KPI Tracking & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and draft recurring performance decks for executive review.
  • Dashboarding & Visualization: Create clear, interactive charts, graphs, and visual dashboards to present analytical insights.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Research market trends, evaluate competitor strategies, and identify emerging operational opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Analyze sales, customer engagement, marketing, and supply chain data to support cross-functional teams with data-backed solutions.
  • Documentation & Presentation: Draft comprehensive analytical reports and present project findings clearly to team leads.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

Academic Target

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration (BBA/MBA), Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Target Audience: Strictly open to College Students and Recent Graduates.

Essential & Preferred Skills

  • Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving capabilities, logical reasoning, and high attention to quantitative detail.
  • Spreadsheet Proficiency: Working familiarity with MS Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, filtering, chart creation).
  • Tool Exposure (Preferred): Basic knowledge of SQL database queries or Business Intelligence tools (Power BI / Tableau) is an advantage.
  • Communication & Research: Solid web research skills, clear written English, and ability to present findings effectively in slide decks.
