Role Overview

21Tech is seeking an AI Intern / AI Integrator to support the implementation of its internal AI strategy on a part-time, remote basis.
In this practical, high-impact role, you will bridge technical execution with business operations. You will analyze cross-departmental workflows (HR, Sales, Recruitment, Finance, Operations) and connect internal software platforms (CRMs, applicant tracking systems, proposal generators, and time trackers) with modern AI tools like Claude, OpenAI APIs, and custom AI Agents.

Key Responsibilities

AI Integration & Workflow Automation

  • Workflow Auditing: Evaluate operational processes across departments to pinpoint manual bottlenecks suitable for AI automation.
  • API & Webhook Connections: Connect core business software using REST APIs, webhooks, middleware, and automation platforms (n8n, Make, Zapier, Power Automate).
  • LLM & Agent Deployment: Deploy generative AI features, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and intelligent AI agents to automate document creation, proposal drafting, and info retrieval.

Tool Evaluation & Optimization

  • Enterprise Tooling: Configure and optimize prompt pipelines using Claude (Anthropic), ChatGPT/OpenAI APIs, and Microsoft Copilot / Azure AI.
  • System Enhancement: Embed AI-driven search and automated responses within Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and internal CRMs.

Security, Testing & Documentation

  • Responsible AI: Implement data privacy safeguards, access permissions, and security protocols to ensure safe handling of internal company data.
  • Documentation & Iteration: Test, troubleshoot, and document API integrations, maintaining clear guides for internal technical and non-technical teams.

Skill Requirements & Qualifications

Required Experience

  • AI Tooling & LLMs: Practical experience building or deploying applications using OpenAI APIs, Claude, and generative AI models.
  • API & System Integration: Hands-on exposure to HTTP REST APIs, webhooks, JSON processing, and workflow building.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to map business requirements (e.g., automated email drafting or resume screening) into working technical integrations.
  • Communication: Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate technical details clearly.

Preferred Technical Background

  • AI Architecture: Exposure to AI Agents, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), vector search, or enterprise internal assistants.
  • Automation Platforms: Proficiency with n8n, Make, Zapier, or Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Enterprise Ecosystems: Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Salesforce, or hub CRMs.
