The Role: Mastering the Material Flow

You will provide vital expertise to the Customer Focus Team (CFT), ensuring that material planning for specific projects is flawless. From managing “Kit on Time” drops to predicting trends for New Product Introduction (NPI) accounts, your work directly impacts our customer’s success.

What a Typical Day Looks Like:

• Production Enablement: Provide material support for weekly production planned orders to meet aggressive customer schedules.

• Shortage & Inventory Management: Utilise shortage reports, manage Excess and Obsolete (E&O) inventory, and handle Work Order management to meet operating goals.

• NPI Support: Act as a Senior Materials Planner for New Emerging NPI Accounts, providing rapid service and protecting Flex’s business interests.

• Demand Analysis: Analyse customer forecasts and shipments using the Waterfall Method.

• Capacity Planning: Determine material availability and capacity based on demand to create aggressive yet achievable loading schedules.

• Team Collaboration: Run weekly system reports and collaborate with the buying team to close material shortages.

Your Professional Success Profile

We are looking for an analytical professional who can process planning orders with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree.

• Experience: 0–1 years (Entry-level candidates with strong analytical skills are encouraged to apply).

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Mandatory expertise in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Proficiency in ERP/P2P systems (BAAN, SAP, or Oracle).

  • Kinaxis knowledge is a significant added advantage.

• Domain Knowledge: Understanding of Engineering BOMs, product structure, EOL (End of Life), and ECO (Engineering Change Order) management.

• Process Knowledge: Familiarity with the complete planning cycle (MPS, MRP, Demand Planning, and Production Planning).

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for stakeholder management.
