Job Overview

Ecolab is hiring a Data Analyst for its Enterprise Growth Operations team in Pune, India. This role focuses on analyzing sales performance, monitoring pipeline health, and generating actionable insights to improve business growth and decision-making.

The successful candidate will work with global stakeholders and enterprise account teams to analyze sales trends, develop reports, validate data, and identify opportunities to improve sales velocity, deal conversion, and revenue performance.

Candidates with experience in data analytics, business intelligence, sales analytics, or revenue operations are encouraged to review the requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver data analytics and insights that support enterprise growth and sales performance.
• Analyze sales pipelines, deal progression, win/loss performance, and sales cycle times.
• Identify trends, patterns, and factors influencing business performance.
• Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc reports covering pipeline health, deal size, conversion rates, and time-in-stage metrics.
• Collaborate with the Growth Enablement Manager and Enterprise Solutions account teams to translate business requirements into meaningful analytical insights.
• Track key growth metrics, including pipeline value, Total Value Delivered (TVD), and revenue impact.
• Document business use cases, data definitions, and reporting logic to support consistent reporting and data governance.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend data-driven improvements.
• Validate analytical outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation across CRM source systems and reporting outputs.
• Support business decisions aimed at increasing qualified opportunities, improving win rates, increasing deal value, and reducing sales cycle times.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Sales Analysis, or Data Analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently with structured and unstructured data.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, or revenue operations.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to global stakeholders across different time zones.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and governance.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, global offshore delivery environment.
• Working knowledge of data flows across source systems, transformation layers, and reporting tools.

Preferred: Exposure to business intelligence or analytics platforms.
