Key Responsibilities

1. Requirements Analysis and Documentation

As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders to define and document business requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Converting business goals into functional and non-functional requirements

  • Writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirement documents (BRDs)

  • Creating documentation such as process flows, system diagrams, and data maps

  • Reviewing design files and annotating technical requirements for development teams

  • Ensuring every feature and interaction is properly documented

2. Agile Backlog and Sprint Support

You will play an important role in Agile project execution and backlog management.

Key tasks include:

  • Managing and organising the Jira backlog for assigned projects

  • Maintaining backlog clarity and ensuring tickets are development-ready

  • Participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cycles

  • Supporting product managers in prioritizing tasks and features

  • Assisting engineering and QA teams in estimating work requirements

3. Testing and Validation

The Business Analyst also supports quality assurance and validation processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Validating that delivered features meet defined requirements

  • Identifying requirement gaps or inconsistencies early in the project lifecycle

  • Collaborating with QA teams to maintain product quality and accuracy

Required Qualifications

Candidates applying for this role should meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner

  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments

Skills

  • Strong expertise in writing user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence

  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
