Role Overview

The Business Analyst – DWH will be responsible for handling the complete requirements lifecycle for data warehouse and analytics initiatives. The role involves close coordination with business stakeholders, product teams, and technology partners to ensure accurate translation of business needs into functional solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements using interviews, workshops, and documentation review.

• Manage end-to-end requirement delivery from initiation to implementation.

• Conduct gap analysis and recommend system or process improvements.

• Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)

• Track and manage requirements using JIRA or similar project management tools.

• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure clarity of functional requirements.

• Create process flows, wireframes, or mockups using PowerPoint or Figma.

• Support change management and user adoption initiatives

• Participate in functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Perform basic SQL queries for data validation and analysis.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on solution design and delivery planning.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across multiple hierarchy levels.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in business requirement gathering and analysis

• Hands-on exposure to DWH or data-centric projects

• BFSI / Banking domain knowledge preferred

• Working understanding of technical concepts to coordinate with IT teams

• Experience with JIRA or requirement tracking tools

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Ability to create clear and structured BRD and FRD documentation

• Exposure to UI/UX wireframing or mockups

• Experience in functional testing and UAT execution

• Basic knowledge of SQL

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
