Job Overview

Comviva is hiring a BI-Data Analyst for its Gurugram team. This role combines business intelligence, data analysis, dashboard development, data engineering, pipeline management, reconciliation, and data quality.

The selected candidate will work closely with business, Operations, and Data Engineering teams to translate business requirements into dashboards and reports, build data pipelines, monitor data quality, and automate reconciliation and billing processes.

Experience in fintech, digital lending, banking, MFI, mobile money, marketing analytics, or other regulated financial domains will be valuable for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Work with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements for dashboards and reports.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports across different markets.
• Develop BI solutions using tools such as Power BI and Metabase.
• Own the development and ongoing management of the BI Portal.
• Translate business requirements into actionable reporting and analytics solutions.

Data Pipelines & Data Warehouse

• Build data pipelines using tools such as Apache NiFi or similar technologies.
• Create base aggregates within the Data Warehouse to support reports and dashboards.
• Monitor ongoing data pipelines and ensure their reliability.
• Work with Operations and Data Engineering teams to keep pipelines operational.
• Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and quality end-to-end.

Reconciliation & Billing

• Work with banks, payment gateways, and telecommunications companies on daily reconciliation activities.
• Build automated reconciliation processes.
• Support monthly reconciliation workflows.
• Generate and prepare accurate data for billing processes.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies affecting reconciliation and reporting.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in BI, Data Engineering, or Data Analysis.
• Strong hands-on SQL skills with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience querying and managing large datasets.
• Ability to gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into dashboards and reports.
• Hands-on experience developing and managing dashboards using Power BI, Metabase, or similar BI tools.
• Experience building data pipelines and ETL workflows using Apache NiFi or similar tools.
• Experience creating data warehouse aggregates for reporting and analytics.
• Strong understanding of data pipeline monitoring and end-to-end data quality.
• Experience with reconciliation processes involving banks, payment gateways, telcos, or similar external partners.
• Experience automating reconciliation processes and preparing billing data.

Domain Experience

Candidates should have experience in at least one of the following areas:

• Marketing analytics, customer campaigns, and segmentation
• Fintech
• Digital lending
• Banking
• Microfinance institutions (MFI)
• Mobile money
• Other regulated financial domains

Deeper financial and domain expertise will be an advantage.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Hands-on experience with PySpark and HDFS for big-data processing.
• Working knowledge of Python for automation and internal tooling.
