As an L3 Admin, you aren’t just managing servers; you are the escalation point for complex incidents, the architect of automation via Ansible, and the guardian of our hybrid On-Prem and Cloud access protocols. If you can troubleshoot any Linux or Windows issue under pressure, we want you on our team.

 The Role: High-Level Infrastructure Governance

You will be responsible for the stability, security, and automation of our global server environment. This role requires a blend of deep technical “firefighting” and strategic system improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Escalation Mastery: Handle L1/L2 escalations, troubleshooting advanced hardware, software, and network-related incidents within strict SLAs.

  • Automation & Infrastructure as Code: Write and maintain Ansible playbooks and inventory; develop automation scripts in Python or Bash to eliminate manual tasks.

  • Hybrid Server Management: Install and configure Windows Server (2022) and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu); manage VM lifecycles and storage configurations (LVM, NFS, Samba).

  • Identity & Access Management: Govern user roles and permissions in LDAP and Cloud environments, ensuring least-privilege compliance.

  • Proactive Monitoring: Use tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds to identify and resolve system bottlenecks before they impact the business.

  • Security Enforcement: Maintain file/folder permissions, enforce security policies, and identify potential threats for escalation to the security unit.

  • Documentation & SOPs: Create high-quality Standard Operating Procedures and technical documentation to streamline team operations.

 Your Technical Success Profile

We are looking for a “SysAdmin Generalist” with specialist-level depth in Linux and automation.

  • Core Operating Systems: Deep proficiency in Windows Server 2022 and various Linux flavours (RHEL, Ubuntu).

  • Automation Toolkit: Hands-on experience with Ansible, Python, or Bash scripting.

  • Networking & Protocols: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations.

  • Storage & Virtualisation: Expert-level knowledge of LVM, NFS, Samba, and VM management.

  • Disaster Recovery: Familiarity with backup software and DR best practices to ensure zero data loss.

  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, the ability to prioritise in high-pressure outages, and excellent communication for vendor and stakeholder management.

  • Experience: Proven track record in an L3 or Senior System Admin capacity.
