About the Role

Zorba AI is looking for a Senior Data Analyst – Tableau to work on data analytics, data visualization, and business intelligence initiatives across multiple industries.

The role involves working closely with clients and business stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate business problems into analytical solutions, and develop effective BI dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Tableau, along with good knowledge of Power BI and DAX and practical experience in Tableau-to-Power BI migration.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on data analytics, visualization, and business intelligence projects across industries.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand business objectives and challenges.
• Analyze and document business processes and end-to-end workflows.
• Define metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and reports based on business requirements.
• Develop, publish, and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI.
• Assess existing Tableau dashboards, reports, data sources, calculations, and business logic for migration.
• Migrate Tableau dashboards and reports to Power BI.
• Translate Tableau calculated fields, LOD expressions, filters, parameters, and data models into Power BI.
• Develop and optimize Power BI reports, data models, measures, and DAX expressions.
• Create storyboards and present analytical insights through clear data narratives.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to communicate technical and data requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to analytics best practices.
• Perform quality checks and validation of reports and dashboards before delivery.
• Participate in client and internal meetings.
• Prepare Minutes of Meeting (MoM) documentation.
• Maintain documentation related to dashboards, metrics, business rules, data logic, and migration activities.
• Track tasks, enhancements, and issues using JIRA.

Mandatory Skills & Requirements

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau, including:
  • Dashboard development and publishing
  • Calculated fields
  • Filters and parameters
  • LOD calculations
  • Data blending and joins
  • Row-Level Security (RLS)
  • Data source management
• Hands-on experience with Tableau-to-Power BI migration is mandatory.
• Good hands-on knowledge of Power BI, including:
  • Report and dashboard development
  • Data modelling
  • Measures and calculated columns
  • Power Query
  • Row-Level Security
  • Report publishing and workspace management
• Strong understanding of DAX, including filter context, measures, calculated tables/columns, and commonly used DAX functions.
• Ability to translate Tableau business logic, calculations, data models, and visualizations into Power BI.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.
• Experience performing dashboard and report QC checks.
• Ability to prepare requirement documents, functional documentation, MoMs, and migration documentation.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA for task and project management.
