About the Role: Data Analyst (Power BI & Advanced Excel)

Millennium Organisation is hiring for a full-time, permanent Data Analyst position based in Mumbai (All Areas), Maharashtra, India. This role is structured for data specialists with 2 to 4 years of experience who are looking to step into a high-visibility, reporting-focused position.

As a Data Analyst at Millennium Organisation, you will take ownership of the firm’s core business intelligence reporting. Your main objective will be to eliminate manual reporting bottlenecks by designing automated, highly interactive dashboards. You will work extensively with client sales metrics, maintain cross-referenced Excel databases, and present clear statistical insights directly to senior leadership to guide their daily marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities & Core Reporting Workflows

• Business Intelligence Architecture: Scope, design, and deploy advanced, interactive dashboards using Power BI to monitor real-time marketing performance and customer acquisition metrics.

• Enterprise Report Compilation: Prepare clear, comprehensive business intelligence reports and performance overviews for a diverse portfolio of multi-national corporate clients.

• Advanced Spreadsheet Data Engineering: Manage, clean, and map multi-variable datasets within Advanced Excel using complex data lookup mechanisms (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP), logic arrays, and multi-layered calculation formulas.

• Data Aggregation & Synthesis: Summarise large volumes of raw sales and marketing logs using Pivot Tables to uncover seasonal operational trends, cost-per-acquisition patterns, and demographic shifts.

• Executive Leadership Support: Translate technical data irregularities and pattern findings into clear, plain-language strategic recommendations to support high-level decision-making for senior leaders.

• System Integrity & Validation: Perform consistent data validation audits across all live data views and internal tracking systems to guarantee data accuracy.

Candidate Prerequisites & Key Technical Skills

Successful candidates must combine deep logical reasoning with a natural talent for data visualization and the communication skills needed to confidently explain insights to leadership teams.

Required Education & Baseline Experience:

• Experience Allotment: 2 to 4 Years of professional experience working within a dedicated data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence function.

• Academic Background: UG – Any Graduate; PG – Any Postgraduate (Degrees in Computer Applications, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Management are preferred).

• Professional Mindset: High level of self-reliance, strong logical reasoning, and a systematic approach to fixing broken data structures.

Core Technical Stack Competencies:

• Power BI Ecosystem: Hands-on proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, including a solid understanding of data modeling, data relations, and building clean data reports.

• Advanced Excel Foundations: Mastery of advanced spreadsheet techniques, specifically nested formulas, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, logical statements, and dynamic Pivot Tables.

• Data Analysis & Synthesis: Proven ability to spot operational anomalies, filter out noise from raw files, and summarize metrics cleanly.

• Communication & Presentation: Clear verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to confidently present data findings and dashboards to multi-national corporate clients.
