The Role: Maps Evaluator (Punjabi/English)

In this role, you will use your research skills to ensure digital maps reflect the real world. Key responsibilities include:

  • Data Verification: Reviewing and correcting business names, locations, and opening hours using Punjabi and English sources.

  • Navigation Analysis: Checking the accuracy of distances and travel routes to enhance the user experience.

  • Local Research: Applying your knowledge of India’s geography and culture to validate points of interest.

  • Instructional Compliance: Learning and applying complex evaluation guidelines to maintain high data quality.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both Punjabi and English (Strictly Required).

  • Local Knowledge: Excellent understanding of the geography, culture, and street layouts of India.

  • Research Expert: Strong ability to navigate search engines, social media, and map applications.

  • Analytical Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to interpret data accurately.

Job Requirements

  • Residency: Must have lived in India for at least the last 5 consecutive years.

  • Commitment: Willingness to work 10–20 hours per week (based on task availability).

  • Examination: Must pass an online open-book exam to verify understanding of the core concepts.

  • Tools: Experience using the India Post website (Pin Codes) and street view applications.

  • Technical Setup: Access to a private laptop/computer with an up-to-date anti-virus solution.
