Kinaxis, a global leader in supply chain orchestration, is hiring a Staff Cloud Platform Engineer to join their Cloud Platform Engineering Team. This team is the backbone of Kinaxis’s digital operations, following the philosophy of “Imperative Orchestration, Declarative Automation.”

As a Staff-level engineer, you will go beyond day-to-day maintenance to act as a technical lead, architecting self-service platforms that allow internal developers to deploy complex supply chain applications with zero friction.

🟢 Role Overview & Strategic Impact

You will be a “Developer for Developers,” building the tooling that powers Fortune 500 supply chains (Unilever, P&G, Cisco).

  • Platform as a Product: Build and run a cloud platform that enables delivery teams to self-service deployments, significantly reducing lead times.

  • Architectural Authority: Develop cloud reference architectures and guide cross-functional teams on implementing secure, resilient, and high-performing infrastructure.

  • Multi-Cloud Mastery: While Kinaxis uses Azure, GCP, and AWS, this role has a strong preference for GCP (Google Cloud Platform) expertise via both console and API.

  • DevOps Evangelism: Drive a DevOps mindset, mentoring junior engineers and leading high-standard code and design reviews.

  • AI-Augmented Engineering: Innovate the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by applying AI tools, rigorously reviewing AI-generated code for architectural fit and security.

This is a senior technical leadership position with a competitive North American salary structure.

Salary Range $125,000 – $175,000 CAD (Annual Base).
Bonus 12% Discretionary Company Bonus.
Location Hybrid (Ottawa/Toronto) or Remote (Canada-wide).
Experience 5+ Years in senior/complex cloud roles.
Work Model Existing Vacancy; Full-time.
