WizzyBox Careers: DevOps Engineer (Bengaluru)

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure and operations team on a Part-Time Contractbasis to streamline deployments, ensure reliability, and scale our automation.

The Role: Automating Excellence

As a DevOps Engineer at WizzyBox, you will be the architect of our delivery pipelines. You will work across the application, infrastructure, and network layers to ensure our production systems are secure, scalable, and lightning-fast.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pipeline Orchestration: Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

• Container Management: Lead our Docker and Kubernetes strategy to ensure seamless container orchestration.

• Cloud Optimisation: Manage and optimise multi-cloud environments (AWS preferred, Azure/GCP) for peak performance and cost-efficiency.

• Observability: Monitor system health using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack to proactively resolve issues before they impact users.

• Security & Compliance: Maintain version control best practices and integrate security into the heart of our operations.

• Collaboration: Partner with developers to bridge the gap between code and production.

Your Technical Success Profile

We are looking for an engineer who speaks “Linux” fluently and views manual tasks as an opportunity for automation.

• Experience: 4–5 years as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).

• Core Skills: * Mastery of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.

  • Hands-on expertise with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

  • Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and container networking.

  • Strong proficiency in Git and version control.

• Cloud Knowledge: Extensive experience with AWS (Azure or GCP is a plus).

• Bonus Skills: * Proficiency in Python, Go, or Groovy for automation.

  • Knowledge of DevSecOps and security automation.

  • Familiarity with Serverless or Microservices deployments.
