We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with 3 to 8 years of experience to join our team in Chennai. In this role, you will be the final line of defence, ensuring that our fintech products are secure, functional, and bug-free before they hit the global market.

About the Role: End-to-End Quality Engineering

At TRDFIN, the QA team is integrated into every stage of the SDLC. You will balance the precision of manual testing with the efficiency of automation to validate complex financial workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Development: Design and implement comprehensive test plans and automated scripts for software validation.

• Bug Lifecycle Management: Track problems, resolutions, and bug fixes. Maintain a detailed database of defects and successful mitigation techniques.

• Hybrid Testing: Perform both manual and automation testing across our product suite throughout the SDLC.

• Troubleshooting: Document testing outcomes and establish clear, reproducible steps to troubleshoot complex system issues.

• Reporting: Prepare detailed defect reports and provide regular updates on test progress to the engineering and product leads.

 Required Skills & Technical Expertise

We are looking for a “mid-to-senior” level professional who is comfortable working with diverse testing tools and API frameworks.

• Core Testing: 3–8 years of experience in Manual Testing and Automation Testing.

• API Validation: Strong proficiency in API Testing (Postman, RestAssured, or similar).

• Automation Stack: Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium, Appium, or equivalent).

• Analytical Mindset: Ability to monitor outcomes and create a comprehensive database of recurring defects.

• SDLC Knowledge: Deep understanding of software development life cycles within a fintech or banking context.
