Role Scope & Technical Architecture

The TLM Developer builds, configures, and maintains SmartStream Transaction Lifecycle Management (TLM) solutions for enterprise banking and financial services clients:

[Inbound Transaction Ingestion] ➔ [TLM Recon & Rules Configuration] ➔ [Exception Management & Workflow] ➔ [Upstream/Downstream Audit Output]

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconciliation Rules & Workflows: Design, develop, and customise SmartStream TLM rules, matching logic, and exception management workflows.

  • System Integration & ETL: Configure data onboarding, static data, and real-time/batch feeds connecting TLM modules with upstream trading or core banking systems.

  • Module Deployment: Implement and maintain SmartStream modules including TLM Premium, TLM Control, or TLM SmartRecs.

  • Database & Scripting Operations: Write complex SQL/PL-SQL queries and Unix/Linux shell scripts to manage data ingestion, automated job scheduling, and database optimisation.

  • Support & Maintenance: Provide L2/L3 production engineering support, root cause analysis, and performance tuning for mission-critical reconciliation engines.

Basic Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Background: Minimum 15 years of full-time formal education (B.Sc, BCA, B.E., B.Tech, M.Sc, MCA, etc.) from a recognized institution.

  • IT Experience: 6+ years of core experience in Information Technology software development and infrastructure.

  • TLM Expertise: 6+ years of hands-on development and configuration experience with SmartStream TLM systems.
