About the Company: Hitachi Vantara

Hitachi Vantara, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd., serves as the resilient, high-performance data foundation trusted by the world’s most ambitious innovators. From securing mission-critical banking architectures to orchestrating real-time data automation for spectacular landmarks like the Las Vegas Sphere, the company empowers global enterprises to optimise, automate, and scale their digital infrastructure.

This specialized position is hosted by Hitachi Vantara India Private Limited within the Digital Systems & Services Sector. Operating out of the core delivery hub in Pune, Maharashtra, India, this department acts as the primary operational anchor for global asset optimisation, commercial governance, and cross-border delivery compliance, turning complex enterprise datasets into streamlined corporate value.

About the Role: Services Contract Management Analyst

Are you a highly disciplined contract governance professional who thrives on structural accuracy, commercial compliance, and cross-functional problem-solving? Hitachi Vantara is hiring an experienced Services Contract Management Analyst (Job ID: R0129747) for its permanent global delivery team in Pune. This role is purpose-built for autonomous analysts bringing 8 or more years of core experience in enterprise service agreements who possess the agility to operate fluidly under minimal supervision during the Americas shift (CDT time zone, 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM IST).

As a Services Contract Management Analyst, you will exercise complete delivery ownership over the commercial and legal lifecycles of high-value managed services and IT infrastructure accounts. Your daily focus will extend beyond basic administrative filing; you will draft, review, and validate low-to-high complexity Statements of Work (SOWs), price quotes, and Master Services Agreements (MSAs) while maintaining an internal quality score greater than 98%. Partnering directly with distributed Sales, Finance, Legal, and Order Management squads, you will safeguard revenue recognition integrity, mitigate corporate risk, and ensure total system alignment across enterprise platforms like Salesforce and Oracle.

Key Responsibilities & Commercial Governance Workflows

  • High-Complexity Contract Engineering: Draft, create, and systematically review low-to-high complexity commercial agreements, including SOWs, quote structural layouts, and MSAs, balancing rapid turnaround times with strict risk mitigation.

  • End-to-End Lifecycle Administration: Orchestrate the complete operational lifecycle of multi-year enterprise service contracts, managing seamless validations, custom amendments, proactive renewals, and clean terminations.

  • System Integrity & Cross-Platform Auditing: Maintain data accuracy across central corporate software systems, ensuring pricing tiers, entitlement fields, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), billing schedules, and project scopes match perfectly.

  • Cross-Functional Deal Alignment: Act as the primary connective link between Sales, Finance, Legal, Service Delivery, and Order Management teams to clear blockages and drive seamless transaction executions.

  • Revenue Recognition & Dispute Guardrails: Support global corporate finance teams by validating billing milestones, reviewing complex contractual clauses, and resolving cross-border pricing or entitlement disputes.

  • Operational SLA Monitoring: Track ongoing contract metrics to verify that corporate commitments match field delivery capacities, acting as a senior escalation point for intricate stakeholder queries.

  • Repository Readiness & Compliance Audits: Enforce absolute version control and metadata integrity across the central contract repository, ensuring the organisation remains audit-ready at all times.

  • Process Automation & Optimisation: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to standardize template creation, remove manual tracking loops, and introduce automation to contract management paths.
