We are currently looking for a motivated, collaborative Senior Internal Auditor to join our team in Austin, Texas. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to go beyond compliance, identifying value-driven improvements across our global operations.

 About the Role: Risk-Based Auditing & Strategic Insights

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Internal Audit, you will evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of Cloudflare’s processes and controls. You will be a key player in expanding our focus from SOX compliance to broader operational and strategic risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit Execution: Lead risk-based operational audits, including planning, fieldwork, and issues validation.

  • Continuous Improvement: Design testing procedures to evaluate risk and identify control gaps.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage AI, automation, and data analysis tools to enhance audit procedures.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Present clear, concise findings to various levels of management.

  • Deliverables: Draft high-quality audit reports and working papers in accordance with IIA standards.

 Desirable Skills & Experience

We are looking for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and possess high integrity.

  • Experience: 5+ years in auditing, accounting, or finance.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong track record in applying audit methodologies, risk assessment, and sampling techniques.

  • Analytical Prowess: Ability to understand complex processes quickly and provide practical recommendations.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Certifications: CPA or CIA (or progress toward) is highly preferred.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills for presenting to stakeholders at all levels.
