About the Role

As the Lead AMS Verification Engineer, you will be the technical backbone of our verification team. You will bridge the gap between analog and digital domains, ensuring the functional integrity of complex SoC IPs and subsystems. This is a leadership-heavy role where you will supervise and mentor a team of 5 to 10 engineers while remaining hands-on with high-level simulation and debug workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and lead a dedicated team of 5 to 10 verification engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Mixed-Signal Simulation: Run and debug SPICE-based and digital simulations for AMS/SoC IPs, ensuring robust test conditions and coverage.

  • Root Cause Analysis: Utilize waveform tools to identify and resolve functional mismatches, analog/digital interface issues, and corner-case failures.

  • Workflow Optimization: Improve simulation turnaround time by enhancing run scripts, log parsing, and regression stability.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with design teams to resolve modeling issues and support co-simulation activities (SPICE + Digital).

  • Documentation: Maintain rigorous verification findings, debug notes, and methodology updates.

Required Qualifications & Expertise

  • Experience: 5 to 8 years of specialized experience in AMS verification, simulation, and debug.

  • Technical Core: Strong fundamentals in both Analog and Digital design concepts.

  • HDL Mastery: Working knowledge of Verilog and SystemVerilog (modeling, connectivity, and test control).

  • Tool Stack Expertise:

    • Analog/Custom: Virtuoso, PrimeSim, FineSim, HSPICE.

    • Digital & Debug: Xcelium, SimVision.

    • Waveform Analysis: WaveView (or equivalent).

    • AMS Tools: Synopsys XA, Cadence DiscoveryAMS.

  • Location: Bangalore Rural, Karnataka, India.
