About the Role: Digital Web Data Analyst
Are you an expert-level web analyst who loves tracking user behaviour, writing complex data queries, and working with cloud-scale clickstream architectures? HP is hiring a full-time, permanent Digital Web Data Analyst (Expert Level) to join its analytics organisation in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This execution-focused role is designed for seasoned professionals bringing 4 to 7 years of deep experience in marketing analytics or data science.
As a Digital Web Data Analyst at HP, you will handle massive volumes of granular web traffic data. Rather than looking only at basic page views, you will merge and analyse session-level clickstream data from Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) inside the Databricks cloud data platform. You will collaborate closely with international project teams, which requires occasional flexibility to adjust your working hours for a consistent overlap with US business time zones. Your primary focus will be to turn complex user behavioural logs into high-impact Tableau dashboards and strategic optimisation plans.
Key Responsibilities & Clickstream Analytics Workflows

Granular Clickstream Analysis: Mine and analyse session-level digital interaction data from Adobe and GA4 datasets to uncover conversion bottlenecks and drop-off patterns.

Cloud Data Engineering & Querying: Write optimised, high-performance SQL routines within Databricks to aggregate, clean, and combine large-scale unstructured web logs.

BI Dashboard Engineering: Architect and maintain corporate-level interactive dashboards and tracking reports within Tableau and Adobe Workspace.

Analytical Requirements Gathering: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate open-ended business questions into structured technical requirements and reliable data models.

Data Quality Auditing: Monitor and improve underlying reporting processes to ensure the absolute accuracy, consistency, and completeness of tracking data across various digital tools.

AI-Driven Efficiency Unlocks: Research and deploy modern AI initiatives, prompt frameworks, or automated scripting models to optimize reporting workflows.

A/B Testing & Optimization (Preferred): Analyze digital experimentation frameworks, multivariate testing variables, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) metrics.
Candidate Prerequisites & Key Technical Skills
Successful candidates must combine a strong foundation in digital marketing tracking with the technical ability to run complex data extractions from large cloud databases.
Required Experience & Technical Baseline (Must-Have):

Professional Experience: Typically 4 to 7 years of core corporate experience in marketing analytics, digital data analysis, or a closely related quantitative field (or an advanced degree with 3 to 5 years of experience).

Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience working with enterprise web analytics platforms, specifically Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

Database Querying: Strong, proven SQL skills for writing queries against large, complex tables inside Databricks or similar cloud data environments.
