Role Overview

LYBL is hiring a Data Analytics Intern for a 6-month, full-time remote engagement in India.
In this high-impact position, you will work directly alongside Product Leadership to build LYBL’s core analytics setup from the ground up. You will collect, clean, and analyze product, marketing, and user behavioral data, leverage modern AI tools to accelerate Python and SQL development, and construct self-serve dashboards using platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.

Key Responsibilities

Data Infrastructure & Pipeline Building

  • Data Extraction & Preprocessing: Query relational databases using complex SQL and clean raw user/product datasets utilizing Python and Pandas.
  • Analytics Setup: Assist in establishing foundational data models and self-serve data pipelines to track product features, user conversion funnels, and retention metrics.

Dashboarding & Cross-Functional Analytics

  • Business Intelligence: Design, launch, and maintain dynamic dashboards on Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio for executive and cross-functional teams.
  • Domain Integration: Analyze multi-departmental metrics spanning Product Management, Digital Marketing, Customer Operations, and User Engagement.

AI-Driven Analytics Workflows

  • AI Tooling: Utilize generative AI tools (LLMs, AI coding assistants) to write, optimize, and debug SQL queries and Python scripts, speeding up data ingestion and dashboard creation.

Qualifications & Candidate Profile

Academic Background

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from a B.E. / B.Tech program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Data Analytics, or related quantitative disciplines.

Technical Skills

  • SQL: Proficiency with joins, aggregations, database querying, and data extraction techniques.
  • Python Data Stack: Practical skills with Python, Pandas, NumPy, and data manipulation libraries.
  • Spreadsheets: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for rapid data validation.
  • BI Tools: Hands-on ability to build interactive visuals using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio independently.
  • AI-First Mindset: Comfort using AI assistants to automate repetitive analytical tasks and debug code efficienty.
