Role Overview

Druze Analytics is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to work on education-focused research and database preparation projects.
In this remote role, the intern will perform structured web research, audit institutional datasets, execute data cleaning operations, and format records in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. The outputs generated directly support downstream database uploads, SQL queries, and analytics pipelines managed by senior data engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Institutional Web Research: Research and harvest college and educational institutional records from verified government databases, official portals, and dependable web sources.
  • Spreadsheet Management & Formatting: Organize, clean, and maintain datasets using MS Excel and Google Sheets (utilizing sorting, filtering, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and text manipulation formulas).
  • Data Validation & Cleaning: Cross-verify record accuracy, identify missing entries, deduplicate datasets, and rectify errors according to strict schema guidelines.
  • Database Preparation: Structure uniform, cleaned datasets that are structured for direct ingestion into SQL, DBMS, or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
  • Task Management & Coordination: Process high-volume research tasks independently, maintain high accuracy thresholds, and document data collection methodologies.

Eligibility & Candidate Profile

  • Target Applicants: Freshers, undergraduate students, or recent graduates in Computer Science, Data Science, Commerce, Mathematics, Business, or related fields.
  • Technical & Analytical Competencies:
    • Fundamental to intermediate knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets (filtering, conditional formatting, basic formulas).
    • Strong online research capabilities and a high degree of attention to detail across high-volume datasets.
    • Familiarity with database concepts, SQL, DBMS, or MongoDB is advantageous (not mandatory).
  • Work Style: High comfort working independently in a remote environment, meeting project deadlines, and maintaining zero-error data hygiene standards.
