Role Overview

As a Data Analyst in the Treasury Mid Office team, you will play a critical role in analysing financial data, supporting debt management processes, and ensuring accurate treasury reporting. Your insights will contribute to liquidity planning, cost-of-funds optimization, and overall financial performance tracking.

This position requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Data Analysis

  • Collect, clean, and analyse data related to loan performance, treasury transactions, and financial metrics.

  • Ensure data accuracy, validation, and compliance with reporting standards.

  • Monitor key treasury KPIs and financial performance indicators.

Advanced Excel & Automation

  • Use pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros, and advanced formulas.

  • Create automated MIS reports and financial models.

  • Improve reporting efficiency through process optimization.

SQL & Data Management

  • Extract and manipulate data using SQL queries.

  • Support data integration and reconciliation processes.

Reporting & Dashboards

  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards using Excel and Tableau.

  • Present financial insights to senior management and cross-functional teams.

Treasury Operations Support

  • Assist with debt tracking and funding analysis.

  • Perform variance and trend analysis.

  • Support treasury compliance and reporting processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.

  • MBA / CA / CFA preferred.

  • CA Freshers are welcome to apply.

Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in treasury analytics, financial analysis, or data analytics.

  • Experience in fintech, NBFC, or financial services preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel expertise (macros, pivot tables, complex financial formulas).

  • Strong SQL querying skills.

  • Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI.

  • Solid understanding of financial numbers and treasury operations (mandatory).
