Job Overview

R-Insights Research Company is seeking a Data Analyst to support social and market research projects through data analysis, statistical modelling, and comprehensive reporting.

The role involves designing research methodologies, developing online questionnaires, processing datasets, conducting statistical analyses, and presenting findings through clear visualizations and analytical reports. The ideal candidate should have a strong research background, excellent statistical skills, and proficiency in SPSS and Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Research Methodology: Design methodologies for marketing, market research, and social research projects.
• Data Collection: Develop appropriate data collection tools for research studies.
• Questionnaire Programming: Program and test online questionnaires to ensure accurate data collection.
• Data Cleaning and Processing: Clean, validate, organize, and process research datasets.
• Data Analysis: Conduct statistical analyses to identify patterns, relationships, and meaningful insights.
• Data Visualization: Create compelling visualizations to communicate research findings effectively.
• Statistical Calculations: Perform statistical power calculations to support research design.
• Analytical Reporting: Prepare detailed analytical reports in formats requested by project partners.
• Stakeholder Communication: Present research results and communicate insights to internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• A master’s degree or Ph.D. in Sociology, Econometrics, Statistics, Data Science, Marketing, Political Science, or a related field.
• Substantial knowledge of research methodologies.
• Excellent knowledge of SPSS and Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated experience in descriptive and inferential statistical analysis.
• Fluency in Armenian, English, and Russian.
• Strong critical-thinking skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Technical Skills

Candidates should have experience with statistical and analytical methods such as:

• Correlation analysis
• T-tests and proportion tests
• Multiple regression and logistic regression
• Decision trees and clustering
• Dimensionality reduction techniques
• Difference-in-differences (DID) analysis
• Statistical power calculations
• Research data processing and visualization

Knowledge of Stata, R, Python, NVivo, and business intelligence tools is considered an advantage. Experience creating interactive dashboards is also beneficial.
