RentoMojo is actively hiring a Data Analyst to join its growing analytics and business intelligence team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for candidates who are passionate about data-driven decision-making and want to work closely with leadership on strategic and commercial initiatives.

This role is ideal for professionals who can bridge the gap between data, business strategy, and execution. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in analysing performance metrics, building dashboards, and supporting planning and forecasting processes that directly impact business outcomes.

Role Overview

As a Data Analyst at RentoMojo, you will partner with senior stakeholders to provide actionable insights across revenue, costs, customer behaviour, and operational performance. You will translate business problems into analytical frameworks and deliver insights that support both short-term decisions and long-term strategy.

You will be responsible for developing reports, dashboards, and models that help leadership understand business health, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Strategic Analytics

  • Act as a data-driven thought partner to business leaders and functional heads

  • Translate business questions into structured analytical problems.

  • Provide weekly and monthly performance insights with clear recommendations.

  • Support annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

  • Assist leadership with data-backed decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyse revenue, cost, customer, funnel, and operational datasets.

  • Identify trends, anomalies, and root causes affecting business performance.

  • Build and maintain profitability models, cohort analysis, and unit economics.

  • Conduct scenario analysis and what-if modelling to evaluate business outcomes.

  • Ensure insights are accurate, actionable, and aligned with business goals.

Reporting & Dashboarding

  • Design and maintain revenue, channel, and performance dashboards

  • Track KPIs, OKRs, and overall business health metrics

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and standardization across reports.

  • Improve reporting frameworks to support scalability and clarity.

  • Present insights in a format suitable for senior leadership and executives

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL for querying and analysing data

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, formulas, and models

  • Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis (preferred, not mandatory)

Business & Communication Skills

  • Strong business understanding and commercial mindset

  • Ability to convert complex datasets into clear, executive-level insights

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High ownership, accountability, and attention to detail

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
