Job Overview
Citi is hiring a Data Analyst (Data/Information Management Analyst) for its Pune division in Maharashtra. This is a trainee-level professional role suitable for candidates with 0–3 years of experience who are interested in data management, data analysis, database operations, and reporting.
The selected candidate will support routine data-related activities, prepare reports, maintain data quality, and follow established operational procedures. Candidates should have hands-on experience with UNIX or shell scripting, good communication skills, and the ability to work with internal teams, vendors, and business partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data-related activities, including data analysis, database administration, maintenance, and data quality management.
- Support database management and related data architecture or design activities as required.
- Carry out routine operational and administrative tasks according to established procedures.
- Conduct analyses and prepare reports to support business operations.
- Deliver accurate, timely, and consistent outputs while following defined processes.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with vendors and business partners.
- Identify and escalate operational risks, control issues, and potential compliance concerns.
- Follow applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and ethical business practices.
- Protect Citi’s reputation, client information, and organizational assets.
- Develop a broader understanding of data and information management processes.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the Citi Data Analyst position should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- 0–3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Hands-on knowledge of UNIX and shell scripting.
- Good project management skills.
