About the Role

Tag is hiring a Business Data Manager to oversee business data capture, validation, analysis, reporting, and performance management.

The role focuses on transforming data from multiple sources into accurate, actionable insights that support strategic decision-making, operational efficiency, and commercial performance.

As a central data partner across the organization, the Business Data Manager will manage reporting cadences, maintain performance dashboards, establish data-quality standards, and work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve visibility into key business metrics.

Key Responsibilities

Data Governance & Quality Management

• Ensure consistent and effective use of business data systems, including Kapta and Zoho.
• Collect, validate, consolidate, and organize data from multiple sources.
• Maintain high standards of data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability.
• Identify and address data gaps across teams and markets.
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve business data visibility.
• Establish and maintain data-quality standards, documentation, and governance processes.
• Ensure data is structured and maintained in a way that supports reliable reporting and analysis.

Reporting, Dashboards & Data Tools

• Design, develop, update, and manage dashboards that provide visibility into KPIs and business performance.
• Own and optimize regular reporting cadences.
• Ensure reports and dashboards are delivered accurately and on schedule.
• Analyze performance trends and business outcomes to support strategic and commercial decisions.
• Improve reporting processes through automation, data visualization, and process optimization.
• Maintain reporting tools and continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency.

Data Analysis & Insight Generation

• Analyze market, business, operational, and commercial data.
• Identify important trends, patterns, risks, and business opportunities.
• Translate complex data into clear and actionable business insights.
• Support growth, client, and operational decision-making through data-driven analysis.
• Handle ad-hoc analytical requests from business teams and leadership.
• Develop meaningful recommendations based on data findings.
• Support leadership presentations and business reviews by converting data into clear narratives.

Stakeholder Communication

• Act as a central point of contact for business and data-related queries.
• Help stakeholders understand available metrics, reports, and performance indicators.
• Present insights in clear, concise, and easy-to-understand formats.
• Facilitate discussions around data findings and business performance.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure insights are translated into actions.
• Support the integration of data insights into planning and decision-making processes.
