Job Overview

As a Business Analyst at WTW, you will support the delivery of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions and Management Information Reporting Systems (MIRS). You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, HR, and IT to gather requirements, analyse processes, and ensure solutions meet business needs.

This role requires the ability to convert business requirements into clear technical specifications, support testing cycles, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Business Requirements & Process Analysis

  • Gather, analyse, and document detailed business requirements from multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Translate business needs into clear configuration and development specifications with defined acceptance criteria.

  • Clearly explain technical solutions in business language to ensure stakeholder understanding and alignment.

  • Analyse existing business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.

  • Stay updated on changing business practices and new IT advancements to support continuous improvement.

Testing & Solution Validation

  • Review test cases and validate test results during System Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles

  • Perform high-level functional testing when required to confirm solution readiness.

  • Ensure final deliverables meet documented requirements and quality standards.

Search Analytics & Reporting Support

  • Collaborate with business teams, ICCM, MWS, and HR to lead discussions focused on improving enterprise search performance.

  • Develop strategies to reduce abandoned or unsuccessful searches within internal systems.

  • Prepare and present monthly search performance reports using SP out-of-the-box (OOB) data

  • Respond to ad-hoc analytics requests related to search performance and content promotion.

  • Support initiatives aimed at improving the overall intranet search experience

Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Partner with development teams to ensure functional and technical documentation is accurate and comprehensive

  • Document automated workflows, system logic, and reporting processes

  • Create reference documentation to support troubleshooting, future enhancements, and end-user training.

  • Enable smooth knowledge transfer between technical teams and business users.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field

  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst in an enterprise or corporate environment

  • Strong understanding of business intelligence, reporting systems, and data-driven decision-making

  • Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Exposure to MIS or MIRS platforms

  • Experience supporting UAT cycles and validating test results

  • Familiarity with enterprise search, intranet platforms, or SEO analytics is a plus.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities effectively

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
