📝 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Requirement Gathering & Analysis

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand objectives, operational challenges, and system requirements.

  • Conduct requirement workshops and stakeholder discussions.

  • Analyse business processes, workflows, and data requirements.

🔹 Documentation & Functional Specifications

  • Prepare detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD).

  • Develop comprehensive Functional Specification Documents (FSD).

  • Create use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams.

  • Maintain requirement traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

🔹 Lending Domain Expertise (LOS & LMS)

  • Work extensively on Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and Loan Management Systems (LMS).

  • Support lending lifecycle activities, including onboarding, underwriting, approval, disbursement, and servicing.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal process standards.

🔹 Collaboration with Technical Teams

  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams.

  • Collaborate with technology teams to design scalable and feasible solutions.

  • Participate in solution validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Ensure final deliverables align with business goals and strategic objectives.

🔹 Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as a bridge between business users and IT teams.

  • Provide documentation updates and resolve requirement gaps.

  • Support change management and requirement updates effectively.


🎯 Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–8 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst.

  • Strong experience in preparing BRD and FSD documents.

  • Hands-on experience in the Lending domain (LOS & LMS systems).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in tools such as:

    • Microsoft Visio

    • JIRA

  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
