Barclays is looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst (Assistant Vice President) to drive strategic transformation, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence.
In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership, support business strategy, demand planning, and performance improvement initiatives, and contribute to large-scale transformation projects. This position blends business analysis, data analytics, stakeholder management, and strategic execution.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
📌 Strategic & Business Analysis
- Support Target Operating Model (TOM) implementation and business transformation initiatives
- Provide strategic insights, research, and analysis for decision-making
- Manage and track demand pipeline, projects, and business initiatives
- Drive business performance improvement through analytics and insights
📊 Data Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze complex datasets and generate actionable insights
- Track and monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and dashboards
- Support financial and non-financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization
⚙️ Process Optimization & Operations
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements & automation
- Enhance operational efficiency and customer/colleague experience
- Support business continuity, crisis management, and risk mitigation
🤝 Stakeholder & Leadership Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Finance, Talent Acquisition, etc.)
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead workforce planning and hiring initiatives
- Support talent development, succession planning, and leadership programs
🛡️ Risk, Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with internal governance and regulatory standards
- Support risk management frameworks (RCSA, controls, audits)
- Develop policies and procedures to strengthen control environment
💻 Technology & Agile Delivery
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments supporting project delivery
- Collaborate with tech teams on data, software solutions, and digital initiatives
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends
