 About the Role: From Bench Testing to Field Deployment

This is a pivotal engineering role focused on the seamless integration of imagery, video, and advanced analytics into autonomous platforms. You will act as the technical bridge between OEMs, software developers, and the mission-focused customers who depend on these systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advanced Data Integration: Lead the integration of satellite imagery and full-motion video into UAV navigation and positioning systems.

• Hardware & Prototyping: Conduct bench and field testing using edge computing platforms like NVIDIA Jetsonand Raspberry Pi.

• Autopilot Mastery: Work directly with UAV autopilot stacks, including PX4 and ArduPilot, to enable AI-driven mission capabilities.

• System Architecture: Assess integration feasibility with a focus on SWaP (Size, Weight, and Power)considerations and hardware constraints.

• Field Operations: Support system demonstrations, prototype development, and real-world testing in rigorous environments.

• Documentation & Strategy: Develop comprehensive test plans, troubleshooting guides, and support technical inputs for RFPs/RFIs.

 Requirements & Technical Success Profile

We are looking for an engineer who isn’t afraid to “get their hands dirty” in the field while maintaining the rigorous standards of aerospace documentation.

• Engineering Background: Proven experience in system-level integration for UAVs, robotics, or ISR platforms.

• Embedded Systems: Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, or similar embedded hardware.

• Flight Stacks: Strong familiarity with PX4, ArduPilot, or MAVLink-based systems.

• Analytics & Video: Experience handling imagery and video pipelines in real-time environments.

• Problem Solving: A deep understanding of SWaP-C constraints and hardware-software trade-offs.

• Communication: Ability to provide technical feedback to internal teams and lead engagements with external OEMs.
