SimuLab is an innovative, AI-native platform revolutionising management education. We replace outdated, static case studies with dynamic, experiential learning through realistic business simulations powered by Agentic AI and no-code workflows. In this role, you won’t just look at charts—you will structure the data environments that train our AI agents, track platform metrics, and deliver the insights that shape our product ecosystem.

The Role: Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst at SimuLab, you will work at the intersection of traditional data engineering, business intelligence, and GenAI implementation. You will collaborate directly with cross-functional teams to inform strategic decisions and evaluate AI model performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Management: Extract, clean, and structure large datasets from multiple sources using SQL and Python to ensure they are baseline-ready for analytical pipelines and AI modelling.

• AI & Machine Learning Support: Partner with data scientists and engineers to prepare training sets, run foundational predictive models (e.g., regressions, clustering), and evaluate model metrics.

• GenAI Integration: Utilise Large Language Models (LLMs) and custom prompt engineering to automate routine data extraction, summarise qualitative feedback, and streamline workflows.

• Dashboarding & BI: Build, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards using platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or Metabase to track core corporate KPIs.

• Business Translation: Mine platform usage data to identify anomalies and trends. Translate technical matrix findings into simple, actionable presentations for non-technical leadership.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a highly analytical mind with a solid grasp of data structures, statistical foundations, and modern AI tools.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Programming Ecosystem: Strong proficiency in SQL for relational database querying alongside Python analytics libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and Seaborn).

• AI/ML Foundations: A solid conceptual understanding of standard machine learning algorithms and the end-to-end data lifecycle.

• Data Storytelling: Exceptional communication skills with the verified ability to look at a raw business problem, isolate the required data parameters, and explain the “why” to management.

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points):

• Technical Portfolio: An active GitHub or Kaggle portfolio showcasing 2–3 end-to-end data projects (especially those involving predictive modelling or AI API integrations).

• GenAI Stack: Hands-on experience working directly with GenAI APIs (OpenAI, Gemini) or automation pipelines.

• Cloud Infrastructure: Conceptual familiarity with cloud data store environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Snowflake).

• Advanced Spreadsheets: Mastery of Excel/Google Sheets functions, pivot manipulation, and formulas.
