Role Scope & Operational Framework

The Data Engineering, Management & Governance Manager leads offshore support teams, manages SLA compliance for cloud AI/ML ecosystems, and acts as a techno-functional bridge between business clients, cloud infrastructure engineers, and sales teams:

Core Responsibilities

• Managed Services Delivery: Oversee AI/ML operations on Databricks, Spark, Snowflake, Vertex AI, and SageMaker; ensure compliance with strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Incident Management & SLA Governance: Act as the first escalation point for major incidents, lead incident resolution bridges, and guide teams in ITIL framework compliance.

• Team & Stakeholder Leadership: Lead offshore technical teams, conduct regular business status meetings, manage client relationships, and mentor team members.

• Continuous Improvement & Automation: Drive service automation to lower total cost of operations (TCO), improve availability, and enhance service delivery quality.

• Business Development & RFPs: Support sales processes, contribute to Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions, and conduct prospective client workshops for AI Managed Services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in data management, AI project execution, and managed services delivery.

• Education: Strong educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.

• Core Technical Stack: Hands-on experience with Java, Python, or R, alongside database experience (MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB).

• Cloud Infrastructure: Proven proficiency across cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
