Role Overview

Cornixe Edutech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a versatile Full Stack Data Scientist Intern for a Work-From-Home (Remote) role.
This internship bridges the gap between data science and software engineering. Rather than working solely in isolated Jupyter notebooks, you will take ownership of end-to-end data products—from collecting and cleaning raw datasets and building machine learning models to exposing model predictions via REST APIs and integrating them directly into user-facing web applications.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Data Science & Pipeline Development

  • Data Ingestion & Cleaning: Collect, clean, transform, and structure complex datasets to ensure optimal data quality for downstream modeling.
  • Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Conduct statistical analysis to uncover key user trends, learning patterns, and operational insights.
  • Model Training & Evaluation: Develop, test, tune, and validate baseline machine learning models to solve specific product requirements.

Full-Stack Integration & Deployment

  • API Development: Package predictive models into scalable backend REST APIs using frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.
  • Application Integration: Support front-end application integration (React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS) to deliver interactive, data-driven features to end-users.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Debug data processing bottlenecks, evaluate model reliability, and resolve backend application issues.

Documentation & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Technical Documentation: Maintain clear, reproducible documentation covering data schemas, pipeline architectures, and API endpoints.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Present project progress, model performance metrics, and insights to team leads during remote reviews.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Students or recent graduates in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or quantitative fields.
