Role Overview

Prodigy Finance is recruiting an AI Infrastructure Intern for a 6-month mentor-led internship at its office in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Designed for computer science and engineering freshers, this role places you directly within the core infrastructure team. Under the guidance of a dedicated senior engineer, you will work on live, production-facing AI compute, storage, and networking layers—learning to provision cloud resources, write Terraform scripts, configure Linux environments, and establish enterprise monitoring pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compute & Storage Provisioning: Assist in building, provisioning, and maintaining cloud and on-premise compute, virtualized instances, and storage layers supporting AI workloads.
  • Linux & Network Configuration: Configure Linux system environments, manage user permissions, and implement core networking fundamentals (subnets, routing, firewalls, and ports).
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Write and test Terraform templates and Bash/Shell scripts to automate repetitive system administration tasks.
  • System Monitoring & Backups: Support daily infrastructure monitoring, error logging, automated backup management, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Documentation & Technical Reviews: Document system architectures, deployment configurations, and operational workflows for team reviews and audits.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Target Degrees: Candidates currently pursuing or completed B.E. / B.Tech (CSE / IT / ECE), BCA / MCA, or B.Sc / M.Sc (Computer Science / IT).
  • Graduating Batches: 2025, 2026, and 2027 (Final-year students and recent graduates).
  • Academic Threshold: 60% or 6.0 CGPA and above preferred (consistent performance is valued, but technical projects or GitHub portfolios are weighed alongside marks).

Technical & Soft Skill Requirements

  • Core Technical Knowledge: Willingness and basic familiarity with Linux system administration, networking fundamentals, virtualization, and cloud concepts.
  • Automation & Scripting (Bonus): Exposure to Shell Scripting, Terraform, or Python is helpful but will also be taught on the job.
  • Soft Skills: Clear written English communication, strong ownership of assigned work, and comfort asking questions in an agile team environment.
  • Location & Joining: Based in or willing to relocate to Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh for the 6-month duration (immediate / rolling onboarding with start dates adjusted around university exams).
