Role Overview
Hire Feed is recruiting a Data Scientist / AI Rater (Python focus) for a full-time, fully remote role with a major global technology partner.
This role focuses on the alignment, evaluation, and fine-tuning of next-generation Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI systems. You will write high-quality Python code to benchmark model performance, execute Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF), build task-specific datasets for Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT), and craft technical rationales to train reward models.
Key Responsibilities

RLHF & Reward Model Optimization: Collaborate with researchers and AI annotators to execute RLHF workflows, evaluate reward models, and rank AI model outputs across diverse query domains.

Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT): Lead the creation, curation, and maintenance of task-specific, high-quality Python datasets for SFT training pipelines.

Model Benchmarking & Evaluation: Design, execute, and document model evaluation frameworks to track accuracy, safety, alignment, and performance improvement.

Technical Reasoning & Documentation: Write precise technical explanations, edge-case analysis, and step-by-step logic in Jupyter Notebooks to validate model output quality.

Code Development & Debugging: Develop efficient, clean Python scripts for data manipulation, public database extraction, and debugging model training workflows.

High proficiency in Python for machine learning, data manipulation, and model benchmarking.

Core background in data science, machine learning principles, and AI evaluation methodologies.

Demonstrated ability to extract actionable insights from public databases and APIs using business acumen.
