As an intern within EY’s specialized Financial Services Organisation (FSO), candidates deliver technical risk advisory services across banking, capital markets, asset management, and insurance:

Key FSRM Focus Areas

Regulatory Compliance & AML: Anti-Money Laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing (CTF), Bank Holding Company reporting, and prudential supervision frameworks.

Financial Risk Management: Credit risk modeling, capital adequacy assessment (Basel standards), liquidity risk evaluation, and market risk analysis.

Operational & Enterprise Risk: Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks, operational resilience, and internal controls design.

Quantitative Advisory Services: Structured finance analytics, valuation reviews, and statistical risk modeling.
Candidate Eligibility & Qualifications

Academic Background: Currently pursuing a university degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Quantitative Finance, Actuarial Science, or related quantitative disciplines.

Market Knowledge: Good understanding of macroeconomic trends, regulatory shifts, and financial market dynamics affecting client operations.

Technical Proficiency: Hands-on capability with Microsoft Excel (financial/statistical modelling), Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.

Professional Attributes: Strong analytical capability, project management skills, high self-motivation, and effective presentation skills.

Availability: Full-time commitment for a minimum of 4 months starting January 2027.
