About the Role: Manufacturing Data Analytics & AI Manager

Are you a visionary leader ready to bridge the gap between heavy industrial manufacturing and cutting-edge artificial intelligence? AGCO is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Data Analytics & AI Manager to anchor our digital operations team in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

In this critical leadership position, you will head our Global Program for Data Analytics, Data Strategy, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). You will collaborate closely with IT architecture teams and floor-level production units to identify, evaluate, and realize high-value analytical use cases. From predicting machinery failures to optimizing assembly-line efficiency, you will provide the technical direction needed to weave advanced AI solutions directly into the fabric of our physical manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities & Strategic Impact

  • Global Program Leadership: Direct and manage the core lifecycle of data analytics, corporate data strategy, and AI deployment frameworks across our international production facilities.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global IT and localized production management teams to scout, score, and implement operational data use cases.

  • Industrial System Integration: Provide technical guidance and architectural advice on integrating data intelligence with enterprise-tier systems like ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).

  • AI Project Governance: Oversee the execution of multiple machine learning and AI initiatives, ensuring they hit strict quality standards and deliver clear, measurable business value.

  • Data Security & Compliance: Enforce rigorous data governance protocols to safeguard operational telemetry, maintaining corporate security, compliance, and ethical data standards.

Candidate Prerequisites & Technical Matrix

We are looking for an assertive, tech-fluent manager with a deep understanding of multi-national corporate supply chains and data architectures.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Academic Background: Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a highly quantitative, related discipline.

  • Core Domain Experience: 5+ years of verified professional experience navigating data analytics, macro-level data strategy, and artificial intelligence models.

  • Industrial Domain Depth: 5+ years of dedicated experience working directly inside a large-scale manufacturing environment—ideally within a Multi-National Corporation (MNC).

  • Technical Systems Mastery: Hands-on operational knowledge and technical understanding of industrial architectures including ERP systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

  • Leadership Track Record: Proven background managing complex technical programs and steering AI projects from discovery phases to live deployment.
