The Role: Data Platform Engineer

Based in our Koramangala/Hosur Road office, you will work closely with Integration and Data Architects to refine architectures that meet the evolving needs of global organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Blueprinting: Assist with the design and blueprinting of data platforms, encompassing all relevant cloud components.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Integration Architects to ensure cohesive data models and system integration across the enterprise.

  • Technical Leadership: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), managing team efforts, making key architectural decisions, and providing solutions across multiple teams.

  • Performance Optimization: Continually monitor and evaluate the data platform’s performance, recommending high-impact optimizations and improvements.

  • Knowledge Advocacy: Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a technical leader who understands the “big picture” of data architecture while possessing the hands-on mastery to implement it.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must-Have Mastery: 5+ years of deep, hands-on experience in AWS Big Data (e.g., EMR, Redshift, Glue, Kinesis).

  • Architectural Depth: Strong understanding of data architecture principles, best practices, and cloud-based data storage solutions.

  • Integration Expertise: Familiarity with modern data integration tools and frameworks to ensure seamless, low-latency data flow.

  • Good-to-Have Skills:

    • Experience with BI Strategy and enterprise reporting.

    • Proficiency in Java Standard Edition.

    • Exposure to UiPath ProcessGold Process Mining.

  • Leadership Qualities: Ability to manage team decisions and engage with stakeholders to refine technical roadmaps.

Education & Requirements

  • Education: 15 years of full-time education (typically Graduation/Post-graduation).

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of specialised experience in AWS Big Data environments.

  • Location: Bangalore (Prestige – RMZ Star Tech, Koramangala).
