The Role: Data Analyst

Based in our Electronic City Phase 1 office, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of data analysis—from validating ETL pipelines to presenting compelling visual stories to business leaders.

Future Duties & Responsibilities:

• Advanced Scripting: Write sophisticated SQL and Python scripts to query, manipulate, and analyse complex datasets, uncovering actionable trends and critical anomalies.

• Visual Storytelling: Develop, maintain, and enhance high-impact dashboards using Power BI or Tableau to provide clear visualizations of key business metrics.

• ETL & Data Quality: Leverage your understanding of ETL processes to validate data moving through pipelines, troubleshooting quality issues in collaboration with data engineering teams.

• Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a consultant to business stakeholders, translating their challenges into structured, data-driven analysis and reports.

• Process Automation: Proactively identify opportunities to automate analytical workflows, making high-quality data more accessible across the organization.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a candidate who combines technical “expert-level” proficiency with an analytical, problem-solving mindset.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 4+ years in a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst role.

• SQL Mastery: Expert proficiency in SQL, including window functions, complex joins, and performance tuning for large-scale databases.

• Python for Analytics: Strong practical experience with Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib/Seaborn for deep-dive analysis.

• ETL & Lineage: Solid conceptual understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and data warehousing principles; ability to trace data lineage and identify pitfalls.

• BI Expertise: Hands-on experience creating dashboards with major tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.

• Accuracy: Exceptional critical thinking skills with a high degree of precision in your findings.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Cloud Exposure: Experience with Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, or Google BigQuery.

• ETL Tooling: Familiarity with debugging jobs in SSIS, Informatica, or Azure Data Factory.

• Modern Workflows: Familiarity with Git for version control of your scripts.

• Domain Expertise: Prior experience in Finance, Marketing, or Operations is a significant advantage.
