As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in enabling data-driven growth across both direct-to-consumer (D2C) and marketplace channels.
You will work at the intersection of marketing, analytics, and business strategy, transforming complex multi-source data into clear insights that improve conversion, retention, marketing efficiency, and overall scalability.
๐ ๏ธ Key Responsibilities – Marketing Data Analyst
๐น Data Integration & Infrastructure
- Integrate data from platforms like Shopify, GA4, Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa Fashion, and Zepto
- Connect marketing tools such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, CRM systems, and email/SMS platforms
- Build and maintain a unified marketing data layer for full-funnel visibility
๐ Marketing Performance Analytics
- Track performance across paid ads, influencer campaigns, organic channels, CRM, and marketplaces
- Monitor key metrics like CAC, ROAS, conversion rates, LTV, and ROI
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
๐ Funnel, Cohort & Retention Analysis
- Analyze user journeys to identify drop-offs and optimization opportunities
- Perform cohort analysis by campaign, platform, and product category
- Evaluate customer retention, repeat purchases, and lifecycle trends
๐ฏ Audience Segmentation & Activation
- Build actionable segments such as cart abandoners, repeat buyers, high-LTV users, and dormant users
- Support targeted marketing and personalization strategies
- Help optimize marketing spend by identifying high-performing audiences
๐ Marketplace Analytics
- Analyze listing visibility, performance, and ad efficiency (ROAS, TACOS)
- Study the impact of pricing, discounts, and stock availability
- Conduct competitor analysis and track share-of-voice
- Collaborate with marketplace teams to improve revenue and efficiency
๐งช Experimentation & Optimization
- Support A/B testing across landing pages, creatives, and campaigns
- Define success metrics and evaluate test results
- Drive experiment-led decision making
๐ Dashboards & Reporting
- Build automated dashboards for marketing, finance, and leadership teams

- Assist in budget planning, forecasting, and growth strategy

โ Requirements – Marketing Data Analyst
๐ผ Experience & Skills
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics (preferably in D2C/e-commerce)
- Strong hands-on experience with GA4
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience with Python (preferred)
- Familiarity with BI tools like BigQuery, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
