We are seeking a Data Quality Consultant to strengthen data governance for a leading automotive retailer. This is a 100% remote position focused on enhancing data accuracy and integrity through cutting-edge SaaS platforms and cloud data ecosystems.

 About the Role: Strengthening Global Data Governance

In this role, you will be a vital member of the Data Governance team, working at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution. Your mission is to ensure that enterprise-critical datasets are reliable, high-quality, and trusted.

Key Responsibilities:

  • DQ Rule Implementation: Use DQLabs.ai and Snowflake to implement rules for data accuracy, completeness, uniqueness, and integrity.

  • SQL Development: Write custom SQL-based validations for complex datasets.

  • Framework Design: Contribute to scaling a robust data quality framework for enterprise-wide initiatives.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to define and align DQ metrics with business needs.

  • Platform Testing: Conduct end-user testing on the DQLabs platform to identify bugs and validate vendor fixes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for a specialist with a structured approach to data management and system testing.

  • Technical Mastery: Hands-on experience with DQLabs.ai, Snowflake, or similar governance platforms.

  • SQL Expertise: Advanced SQL skills for developing custom rules and validations.

  • Governance Experience: Proven background in enterprise data management best practices and DQ metrics.

  • Testing Proficiency: Experience in structured system testing, defect identification, and resolution follow-up.

  • Standout Skills: Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM), metadata management, or the automotive/retail industry.

 Salary, Benefits, and Workforce Diversity

Annual Salary: $115,000 – $130,000 (Plus discretionary annual incentive program).
