Role Overview
As a Data Analyst, you will bring structure and credibility to datasets sourced from multiple stakeholders. Your work will directly contribute to flagship studies and public-facing research reports.
You will ensure that every dataset used in decision-making or publication meets strict quality, consistency, and documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
Data Cleaning & Validation

Clean, organise, and standardize datasets across hiring, education, compensation, and skills domains.

Validate information collected from employers, universities, and surveys.

Identify inconsistencies, gaps, and anomalies in raw data.

Maintain structured documentation and version control.
Research & Insight Development

Support research projects by preparing reliable and well-structured datasets.

Analyse workforce data to identify trends and meaningful signals.

Translate findings into clear, non-technical summaries for editorial and leadership teams.

Ensure published reports are backed by validated data.
Dashboarding & Workflow Management

Build and maintain disciplined trackers for research workflows and partnerships.

Develop simple dashboards using Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.

Monitor ongoing data accuracy and consistency across projects.
Data Governance & Quality Standards

Implement naming conventions, formatting standards, and validation rules.

Ensure high levels of transparency and auditability in datasets.

Uphold strict quality control before data is used in reports or public outputs.
Required Skills & Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in Data Analysis, Research, HR Analytics, Consulting, or EdTech roles.

Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, data validation).

Working knowledge of SQL and Python.

Experience with Tableau or Power BI for visualization and dashboards.

Understanding of data modelling principles and structured analytical workflows.

Strong attention to detail and methodical documentation practices.

Ability to present analytical findings in simple, accessible language.

Ownership mindset and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
