We are currently expanding our AI Engineering & Infrastructure capabilities on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). We are looking for engineers who bridge the gap between AI/ML development and robust, scalable platform engineering to build the next generation of distributed AI systems.

 About the Role: Engineering the Future of OCI-Powered AI

This role is designed for a technical hybrid—part AI Engineer, part Platform Architect. You will be responsible for the “legwork” of AI deployment, ensuring that distributed systems are optimised for heavy AI/ML workloads on OCI.

Key Areas of Focus:

  • AI/ML Platform Engineering: Build and maintain the DevOps and Platform frameworks that allow AI models to move from research to production seamlessly.

  • Kubernetes Orchestration: Manage Kubernetes-based platforms and distributed systems to handle high-concurrency AI inference and training.

  • Automation & Pipelines: Utilise Python to build sophisticated automation workflows, data pipelines, and platform management tools.

  • OCI Workload Optimisation: Leverage specific OCI services (such as OCI Data Science, GPU shapes, and High-Performance Computing) to support massive AI/ML workloads.

 Requirements & Technical Stack

We are looking for self-driven engineers with a proven track record in cloud-native AI environments.

  • Engineering Background: Strong experience in AI/ML Engineering, MLOps, or AI-focused Platform Engineering.

  • Distributed Systems: Expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) and the orchestration of distributed computing clusters.

  • Programming Mastery: Advanced Python skills for developing automation, internal tools, and pipeline workflows.

  • Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) services, specifically those optimized for AI and machine learning.

  • Mindset: A passion for building reliable, high-uptime systems that can support the unpredictable demands of AI training and deployment.
