Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Professor

  • Ph.D. in relevant/allied discipline

  • Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience

  • At least 10 research publications

  • Minimum research score of 120 (as per UGC Regulations 2018)
    OR

  • Outstanding professional with Ph.D. and 10 years of significant experience

Associate Professor

  • Ph.D. in relevant discipline

  • Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks

  • 8 years of teaching/research experience

  • At least 7 research publications

  • Minimum research score of 75

Assistant Professor

  • Master’s Degree with 55% marks

  • NET/SLET/SET qualified OR Ph.D. as per UGC norms

  • NET exemption applicable for eligible Ph.D. candidates and disciplines where NET is not conducted

Deputy Librarian

  • Master’s Degree in Library/Information Science

  • 8 years’ experience as Assistant Librarian

  • Ph.D. in Library Science preferred

Assistant Librarian

  • Master’s Degree in Library/Information Science

  • NET/SLET/SET qualified or Ph.D. exemption

  • Knowledge of library computerization


Experience Requirements

  • Professor: Minimum 10 years

  • Associate Professor: Minimum 8 years

  • Deputy Librarian: 8 years

  • Assistant Professor & Assistant Librarian: No mandatory experience (NET/Ph.D. required)
